That sounds absurd because the part was very easy to replace using a video I found on youtube. I emailed Brother support and got on a chat with them but they say that the printer must be taken to an authorized service center. Replacing the PF kit was one of the easier jobs I've done, but I cannot figure out how to now reset the 'parts life' counter on the touchscreen so that the error message saying "replace PF Kit" goes away. I have a Brother MFC 9340 CDW printer and I've changed out lots of parts on it including toner, belt, drum, fuser, and now the PF (paper feed) kit. Reporting it brings it to our attention and will definitely be looked at by someone. If something is not reported, it will most likely slip past us.
